Phew – my 2nd year in business has come to an end! One of the quirks of running your own business is that you never quite know if it’s been a “successful” year until you pause and reflect. Looking back at 2025, I’m proud of the impact I’ve helped create:
By the numbers:
● Worked with 15 businesses (vs 19 in 2024)
● 73% repeat clients (up from 42% in 2024)
● Supported 4 businesses to become B Corp certified & 3 to re-certify
● Guided 3 businesses to work through improvements on my Better Business Accelerator and submit their B Corp application
● Delivered 6 impact reports
● 8 speaking engagements sharing B Corp insights (vs 2 in 2024)
● Spoken on 2 podcasts about regenerative leadership
● Finalist in So Glos Business Awards 2025 for Microbusiness
🌱 Through my role as Co-Chair of Glos B Local:
● Hosted 6 in-person networking events or site visits (vs 1 in 2024)
● Ran 4 best practice webinars (vs 3 in 2024).
Looking ahead to 2026, I’m excited to launch:
● Better Business Evolution – a monthly membership programme designed to take the stress out of maintaining your B Corp certification while helping your business thrive socially and environmentally
● Support for ISO 14001 & 9001 certification – helping businesses start their environmental and social responsibility journey, even if they’re not quite ready for B Corp
Every year brings new challenges, but seeing the growth, commitment, and impact of the businesses I work with makes it all worthwhile. Here’s to another year of meaningful work!
